Eventually I'm pretty sure this will be an important question. Hundreds, or thousands of years into the future. It will matter one day. Will these artificial life forms have the same rights as humans? If there is no difference between simulated or human conciousness, then the answer is yes, they should have the same rights. But will people accept this? |
