From Scratch you should checkout Snap! and snap.berkeley.edu

John Maloney (co-inventor of Scratch), Jens Moenig (who was on the Scratch Team and develops Snap!), along with Yoshiki Oshima (who may also have been on the Scratch team), are deveolping a new langauge "GP" (for General Purpose) which like "professional Scratch".
