Totally agree with this! This will make the employers think twice before sponsoring H1b, and will ensure that they treat (in terms of pay and work load) their immigrant employees equal (to americans). Until this happens, Americans are going to be at the receiving end. Even limiting number (drawn out of thin air) of visas, or increasing the cost of the visa, doesn't solve any issues. If anything, it'll make it worse for the legit h1b sponsoring company to bear the costs and handle the immigration process. |
