This definitely rings true to me. The company I work for has been around for ~6 years and while we have made money and grown in that time, it wasn't until the last year really that we hit on exactly what our clients love about our product and continued to nail that. It can take way, way longer than some entrepreneurial people are comfortable waiting for. But now that we've found it, and are continuing to expand our product around what we've found, growth is starting to come much more easily.
