As I understand the subtitles are usually licensed from different people than the producers of the shows, so yes it is probably licensing issues too. As an example on Netflix Italy you can watch Lie To Me with Italian or English audio, but the subtitles are only available in Italian. If you switch to a UK proxy you get English subtitles... |
