Web search is a good alternative to a massive collection of bookmarks, with the added benefit that it automatically updates.

Touche... These bookmarks are the result of many Google searches. If I just type in keywords of a particular problem in the browser, I more than likely get one of my bookmarks. Most of the time, the bookmarked info is still relevant too.
