Not to mention the east coast response to "the homeless are sleeping in our parks!" isn't "remove all park benches throughout the city". Having lived in NYC and SF, I find that California's claim to being a liberal bastion isn't nearly as strong as reputed, and that the overall tenor of its social liberalism is fairly superficial. |
