The SAFE (Secure Access For Everyone) Network is made up of the unused hard drive space, processing power and data connection of its users. It offers a level of security and privacy not currently available on the existing Internet and turns the tables on companies, putting users in control of their data, rather than trusting it to organisations.

Wow! It's awesome that you live so close to the MaidSafe office.

I'm actually in Montreal and I don't work directly for MaidSafe, but I am very active in the SAFE Network community.

You should definitely pass by the MaidSafe office when you have a chance :-)

The SAFE Network was previously written in C++ (https://www.openhub.net/p/maidsafe) but last year MaidSafe decided to rewrite everything in Rust (https://www.openhub.net/p/safenetwork).
