author here. I wouldn't call myself proficient in bash either :] I think I'd like for expose to remain a simple(ish) script that you don't have to think too much about. For something more fully-featured with actual templating, caching, plugins etc bash is not quite the right tool imo. I'm glad there are more options in the "photo-oriented SSG" space. |
