This is crazy.
I recently stumbled upon the numbers for gun-killings by German police, I can't believe how much these numbers diverge: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waffengebrauch_der_Polizei_in_... (Second column is "number of fatal shots", third is "total number of shots fired at people") Of course, the USA have 4 times as many inhabitants and the German numbers are only related to gun-killings, not other methods. But still, they are in a completely different dimension. |
