If you don't already use it, you should check out GNU Stow as a tool to manage those symlinks. You just make a directory (or directories) which mirrors your home folder, but with only the files you want to store in dropbox, and Stow will generate symlinks in the appropriate places. https://www.gnu.org/software/stow/ |
