Actually, Autodesk has a version that is free for hobbyists. I don't think the interface is quite as intuitive as Solidworks. But for a free CAD software, it's far beyond any other options. They even include simple stress analysis tools (FEA). I've been using it on my personal computer for a little while for personal projects. http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview |
