Really weird to read this being someone who is using the Expensify app on a daily basis. Super simple, I just photo the receipts as I go about during the month and then at the beginning of the next month I create my expense report.

For me the main pain point of expenses is feeding the data into the archaic web app the company uses for expenses and matching every receipt with the right project number and project activity. Any solution that doesn't remove my need to interact with that web app isn't solving my main problem.

If all of our users were like you, we would have kept it I guess, but figures showed batch uses once a month instead

In that case you didn't go after the right users. Expensify just did a $17m Series C so must obviously be a lot of people like me.
