DannyBee's example is interesting. But since the treaty applies to software "owned by a person of another Party," couldn't the U.S. pass a law that says, in effect, "if you want to sell android devices in the U.S., you have to produce the GPL source code if the rights holder is a U.S. domiciled person?" UPDATE--saw you already addressed this at the end of your post. Agreed. |
