I believe free enterprise requires that all parties to a transaction be free to participate, or decline, according to their own judgement and resources. Clearly absconding with and holding another's property for ransom is not free enterprise. I hesitate to say something so pedantic, but with the number of people who attribute crazy properties to the concept of "free markets", etc. I think we should just be clear on this one. |
