This argument is valid only if you implicitly assert that the current system is perfect. Every system has it's trade-offs.
exactly. thats what makes the parent comment so preposterous.
If this is your argument it also requires the assumption that the trade-offs with Convergence are identical in both scale and type to the current system; at least in reference to this specific problem.
