Couldn't this mean that (assuming Earth would be the origin of humans) humans a long time ago expanded and just came to this planet? Making him still human, just from a colony.

Assuming that: - The referenced point in time for that phrase is NOW - Earth technology hasn't gone backwards to the point where our current technology is today Earth couldn't have colonized other planets. Therefore Corellia couldn't have been a colony of Earth. Sure, they could have been a colony of ANOTHER race. In that case, Solo is still not human. IF Earth is a colony of Corellia or the same race that colonized Corellia, Solo is indeed human :) My $0.02
