The study isn't forcing anyone to do anything. High deductibles save health insurance companies billions. We already know that health insurance companies own congress: that's why we don't have a sane socialized medicine system in the US. So high deductibles are here to stay. The only thing that's going to change that is consumers becoming more savvy; economists have no power here. They should, but they don't. |
