I love the correlation between modern in-browser development and programming early personal computers. It's akin to how digital logic abstracts away the tyranny of E&M physics, but several layers higher, and this time just between instruction sets/runtimes. ChromeOS is kind of making this leap, but I really wonder when web browser ASICs (or equivalent) will start popping up. |
