Is there any research on the net cost of this confusion? Or is it just one of those things where we can easily quantify the switching costs, so we don't bother with the cost of the status quo? It's like right hand drive cars, which seems like an easy win to get rid of, but are so wrapped up in culture that we are pretty much stuck with them. |
