OP, I've been browsing your previous HN submissions and I think your biggest problem is a lack of self-discipline to actually get some work done. You've already received tons of really good career advice here, but it won't help you if you don't do anything with it.

What you need to learn is not so much programming, but self-discipline, determination, and the grit to see things through to the end once you've started on them. Unfortunately, we can't really help you with that. The ball is in your court now - go and do something with it!
