Maybe internet providers should pay fee to the website owners. Same as cable tv providers pays HBO or other channels. We could log the time each user spent on website and then similar to spotify pay proportionally to the website owners. For each internet connection we could pay e.g. $10 that goes to content creators. Ofcourse Facebook and Google would earn most of this money. |
