It might be a case of the seller using that price as a placeholder until they get the book back in stock. Amazon prefers that vendors keep items in stock, so this is one way to do that, even if you're currently sold out. I used to work for a company making software for Amazon vendors and don't think Amazon cares that much, but lots of vendors believe it is true. |
