I guess there's a fifth possibility: that people in the future learn enough about brain function to figure out that it's literally impossible to reboot a dead brain. I'm no neurologist but wouldn't be surprised if there's information in the brain which is encoded in ways other than which neuron is connected to which. Like, firing patterns. |
