We all want legal privileges, nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't mean society should grant them. "I want" is not an argument. If people can't live off of doing some activity, they have to choose whether they can afford to keep doing it or not. Student loans, and obligations in general that people have contracted with certain expectations, only justify that we take a "softer" approach, it doesn't change the argument. |
