Australia also has one of the slowest internet in the world, which is a consequence of the Telstra monopoly there. It is just sad data retention happens now, it will only hinder even more future development in the IT sector. I lived there for one and a half years then moved back to Europe, enjoying my 500mbps fiber connection. |
