Housing prices and student loans are the bane of my generation (mid 30s atm). I just moved to the Bay area .. feel like I'll always be a renter. While a lender will give me money to buy a million dollar condo, I'd be one misfortune (losing my job) away from having to declare bankruptcy. I don't have the stomach for that. I'm starting to develop a theory that the tax rate at upper middle class incomes could be to blame. |
