A BT engineer came to my house, attempted to fix something and told me that they didn't have the parts (a socket faceplate c'mon that's just silly for a telecoms engineer.

I walked out of the house two hours later to him having a conversation with a breakdown van in my car park about the breakdown guy not having a suitable part to fix his van.
