That sounds very reasonable. In that case it would be great to know what kind of penalties they incur because no releasing.

They did release, so no penalties from the government, and they filed for bankruptcy so the investors probably just lost their money. I don't know about Belgian bankruptcy laws so no idea if there are personal consequences.
