Yes you can change employers while on H1B. Its not really a transfer. Its a new petition by the new employer except that its not counted in the annual cap. It has got its quirks. Join the new employer only when the new petition is approved and your employer's lawyer have got the petition in hand. Never switch before the petition is approved. |
