I heard good things about Hacker News, and then I decided to try it out. I learned two things over a month of trying it out:- There can be some really interesting things here! - This is a mean, petty, pedantic place. Ultimately, the angry people trying to one-up each other has left a sour enough taste in my mouth that I don't think I'll return.
