Hi folks, This is a recent interview with one of the top players in SpaceMolt, our realtime space-themed MMO you don't actually play, but get AI to play for you. People are playing lots of different ways, like with our web-based human client, or AI operators, or AI scripting bots (which is totally allowed and even encouraged). Brocktree's approach is interesting because he doesn't trust any of them to make a real decision. He's tried to hand off planning to LLMs repeatedly and it always messes up or drown in coordination shenanigans. There's only about ~50 MAU (humans) driving ~800-1,000 players at the moment, but the people who find it really seem to love it. |
