Three workers digging in a field outside the data center (sign2.nl)

This is bad art; both conceptually and because this prose description of it is verbose and boring to read. And because the subject is a Google datacenter, and because the author Dinnis van Dijken is a working artist, I'm concerned that this performance art is motivated by anti-datacenter political sentiment in some way, which I think is generally bad.
Wait, what? I didn't read everything because the writing kind of sucks: It buries the point in details and I didn't feel like going through with a fine comb to find the point.

AFAIU: Three artists hired three construction workers to dig random holes at a still un-fenced future Google datacenter construction site. The workers dug while the artists stood nearby doing artist things. Security came, then everyone left. There was much rejoicing.

And there were cookies to be had
Why was this pointless "artistic" performance worth describing in so much detail? What a loss of time, both for the author and the readers.
Fucking weird.
Next up: Two cats fighting in an alley behind the data centre.
