Show HN: RandoFont – A browser for Google Fonts (randofont.alesh.com)

Inevitably when starting a new web project I want to pick the perfect font. This is just a browser that shows Google Fonts, randomly, and lets me tag favorites.

I built this years ago and just used AI to give it a minor facelift.

fun fact: Bunny CDN provides a privacy first mirror to all google fonts https://bunny.net/fonts/
It would be cool if you could set custom header, sub header, and body text examples, then with some pre-filtering beable to hit randomize to find interesting pairings.
I like this, I'm often browsing new fonts to load on my Kindle for reading, or different monospace fonts, so this might help.

Would be nice to filter out material icon fonts. Using only monospace filter, icons showed up like every third shuffle.

I’d love good font pairings as well. Often titles/headings have a different font than body text.

This is fun, nice job

+1. Google used to have suggested pairings but removed them a while back.
I am curious why it doesn't have Chinese fonts while both Japanese and Korean fonts are available.
