I have not seen such pessimistic future prediction from any of major consumer electronics producers yet.

Hate how nowhere on that page does it say what the price will be. I guess they don't want the full price in the announcement...

Go add the announced price increase to whatever price you find on BestBuy.com? I take your point, but I hardly find it onerous to figure out the new price.

Effective August 1, 2026, Xbox console prices are going up worldwide:

512 GB models: +$100 1 TB models: +$150 2 TB models: being sunsetted entirely
