This has been a long reckoning for American education. G&T programs quickly became what you HAD to get your child into, and any actual value (debatable and dubious already) evaporated. Another failure of the system because of bad incentives.
Whether it's G&T programs or THE school, I feel a majority of parents have a weird obsession with their child's early education like elementary and middle school
