I'm an immigrant myself, from India. How people thought they could take such huge financial decisions on the basis of the broken, unpredictable, immigration policies of the US is so beyond me. I know why some Indians have such an exaggerated sense of entitlement. I know why some of them feel they have no other option but to take this gamble. All the same, the extent of exposure they've subjected themselves and their families to is just impossible for me to rationalize.
