I 90% agree, but last semester I had two students that used their ipad/tablet with a digital pen to take notes, and they used it very efficiently. (Math, in the first year of the university in Argentina.)

I still like paper because I can make notes and arrange a few sheets over a table and see all of them at the same time. Until I can buy 5 ipad/tablet to fool around, I'll use paper.
