Over the past decade, I’ve been working on an event-sourced architecture—used in production systems (including legal and financial systems)—that evolved into an open-source ecosystem.

This write-up looks at: - How the architecture developed over time - How the supporting implementation (including a PostgreSQL event store) evolved - How the work has been distributed across contributors

It includes a timeline of the system’s evolution and contributor statistics that reflect how the architecture and ecosystem were built.
