We form opinions about wages, prices, and housing from vibes, headlines, and anecdotes. The actual numbers are usually somewhere unexpected. Off By is a daily game: five real economic statistics, you guess each one with a slider, then see how far off you were. Everyone plays the same questions on the same day. Average player is off by 25%. I'm usually in that range too. Free, no account needed. In the german apprenticeship system, you're paid to work, starting with a low salary, because you're learning on the job. You're also going to school at the same time (one or two days per week), but you aren't paid for that.
