Hey everyone! I’ve been tinkering with an open-source alternative to the Tindeq called Crimpdeq! Built from scratch using an ESP32-C3 and with [firmware written in Rust](https://github.com/crimpdeq/crimpdeq-firmware/). I've also created a [PCB](https://github.com/crimpdeq/crimpdeq-pcb) and a [3D case](https://github.com/crimpdeq/crimpdeq-case).

To make it easy for others to build their own, I wrote a step-by-step [book](https://book.crimpdeq.com/) that walks through the full process, including how to prototype one by salvaging a crane scale.
