I built Wan-Animate, an AI video character animation and replacement tool based on the Wan 2.2 model.

It focuses on two common video creation needs:

Move Mode: animate a static character image to follow the motion in a reference video

Mix Mode: replace the person in a video with an uploaded character image

Under the hood it uses skeleton-driven motion control and intelligent relighting, so the character blends more naturally into the original scene.

Quality options:

Standard: 480p

High quality: 720p

There’s a free trial (login required), plus subscription and credit-based plans.

The goal is to make character animation and replacement accessible without complex VFX workflows — just one character image and one reference video.
