Greggit – Google but it's only the Reddit results (greggit.com)

GigaBrain used to provide this, until reddit no longer allowed it.
Isn't using, "site:reddit.com <search term>" the same or am I missing something?
Yes this is literally just appending site: reddit.com to the query and redirecting to google. This page is a single HTML: https://github.com/goncharom/greggit

This was meant as a silly project! I caught myself adding site:reddit.com to a lot of google searches so I figured I’d just make a shortcut.

It would be interesting to know what exactly Greggit is doing. I'm no expert, but I think the owner of a website can prevent the traditional site: search from finding much of interest.
But Reddit definitely doesn't do this... since I use this method all the time.

Edit: many pages of hits, for example:

https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Areddit.com+%22the+emp...

Maybe what GigaBrain was doing was applying AI to the search results and providing an AI summary.
