Reasons techies quit their jobs

Last week, I did a number of interviews with both technical professionals and recruiters in order to learn what factors would lead technologists to jump ship from their current job and look for something new.

Here are the top 5 reasons I synthesized.

1. An inability to work with the best technologies 2. A crappy, non-technical manager 3. Better opportunity/poaching 4. A lack of flexibility 5. A lack of recognition and support

But, I want to know if you all agree with these items. Do you think any are particularly important? Any that don't belong on the list? Any that are more unique to techies than other professionals?
