It is, if you live in a flat place, don't have small children or buy anything from ikea. It is only good for you travelling from place A to place A or B assuming that when you get to place B, you can have a shower or don't need it.

We won't. Volonaut's airbike/speederbike costs approximately $1 million and does 124 mph, supposedly.

Gasoline cost? I expect a flight in a helicopter like vehicle to be more expensive than using wheels to counter gravity.

About the accident risk, perhaps real 100% autopilot may solve that.
