That site has no contrast at all. How can people read anything? Am I that old with bad eyes?
Agree that the default appearance of the web site is... less than optimal. You can change it with the light/dark and high contrast controls at the bottom, though.

Commit is a good, high-quality typeface. I think it lives up to its aspiration to be "neutral" and that its creator is to be commended for genuinely excellent work.

I honestly didn't/couldn't see the contrast controls at first.

It boggles my mind to think the developer actually thought about contrast and still chose to go with a default of black on dark gray.
