I think Trump will cave in eventually if the pressure mounts. He will "make a deal" followed by 180 degree turn, and claim bullshit victory. He likes to bully, but when somebody pushes back he caves in.

Mark my words: Chinese tariffs may stay high, but most other tariffs will much smaller in 3 months.
