Hi everyone! It's been almost a month since we launched our Wordpress AI Alt-Text Generator tool.
While we initially were aware that the product is super niche, we still wanted to just go through the process of launching our first product. The reason we chose this one was that a client of ours was in need of it so we decided to give it a try and see what happens. We did:
- ProductHunt launch
- Posted in forums
- Spread the word with developers we know
- Reddit posts
- X posts
- Google Ads (15$ per day) We had:
- about 1,2k unique sessions
- about 200 sessions that also went to the checkout > we do think those were mostly bots though
- a lot of preview generations from the hero section Results:
- 0 customers yet. We are trying to figure out if:
- the product just isn't needed or compelling enough
- pricing is off
- something is misleading or confusing
