I'm sure most science fiction fans will know that Hugo Gernsback, mentioned prominently in TFA, is the person the Hugo Award is named after.

And his surname is immortalized in William Gibson’s “The Gernsback Continuum”: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gernsback_Continuum

We often hear about the seminal Popular Electronics magazine, but interesting to see that some others have had also a huge influence.

The Radio-Electronics TV Typewriter magazine is also mentioned by Steve Wozniak while working on the Apple I.
