Show HN: Draw 1-bit pixel art every day (1-bit.day)

Hello :)

I'm David and for this 2025 I wanted to start an habit to learn pixel art. Particularly 1-bit (my favorite).

I tried to find an app or something to do a kind of challenge to self-motivation, but I didn't find anything... So I created my own website for the challenge.

If you want, you can join the challenge and create a gallery. It started 1st of January and (at the moment) there are prompts until 30th of March... But you can start since the beginning in any moment!

Cool idea, simple interface.

What are your hopes with this? Is it just for yourself to use, or do you hope to get a large gallery of submissions? I was hoping I could submit to the gallery without logging in, but in retrospect I do see why that probably should not be allowed

Honestly I don't have any hope xd It was something that I created for me and then I thought that maybe some people could be also interested in the challenge.

I tried to put a small friction to avoid people spamming any kind of draw, but I'm not doing a content review or censoring anything xd It doesn't have a huge user base and probably it won't happen.
